Technical Trainer & Quality Supervisor (Automotive OEM)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the activity of QA technician to ensure adherence to company standards and customer expectations.
- Analyze quality check results to identify individual or team performance gaps.
- Coordinate and implement training plans based on the identified needs, both for new hires and existing technicians.
- Design, develop, and maintain training syllabus, modules, and supporting materials tailored to GPS telematics systems and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Conduct hands-on and classroom training sessions for technicians.
- Work closely with the Operations and Technical teams to align quality and training initiatives with operational goals.
- Provide feedback and coaching to technicians to foster continuous improvement.
- Monitor training effectiveness and update content regularly based on field performance and technology changes.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assessments and training activities.
- Collaborate with Hardware and Customer Care teams to resolve all items.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in quality assurance, training, or technical supervision, focusing on electronics or electrical products, preferably with field service experience.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electronics and maintenance procedures.
- Proven experience in creating training programs and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with field technicians and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) or digital training tools is a plus.
